About Me

  •  I originally became interested in massage therapy while studying physical therapy. It was then I realized how valuable massage therapy could be for prevention and recovery from injury, and general physical and mental health, but it was underutilized. After completing the 600 hour program at the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in 1997 I went on my own, became certified by A.C.E. as a personal trainer, by Body Balance for golf health and fitness, and by Aaron Mattes for active isolated stretching, among many others. Seventeen years into it, here I am performing proven manual therapies that truly work and make perfect sense. As a direct result of massage therapy, my interests expanded into many other areas of natural health, diet, and fitness.

  • As an exercise enthusiast myself, the tight back from golf, sore hamstring from mountain biking, fatigued hips from rollerblading, lack of flexibility for the morning heavy bag, or sore lower back from kayaking are all issues I've dealt with. Knowing when to warm, when to cool, how to massage, what to stretch, and how and when to stretch are all part of the solution to the problem and for prevention of future ones.

  • My business is based on the belief that my clients needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from experienced bodywork recipients who are searching for consistent and knowledgable use of various forms of massage therapy and stretching techniques. I would very much welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
